Sabine Loos

Sabine applies geostatistical and data-driven methods to components of resilience analysis. Her work has focused on rapidly estimating regional damage after an earthquake by integrating multiple geospatial datasets. She is now applying similar methods to estimate post-disaster socioeconomic need. Before her PhD, Sabine has also developed and validated remote sensing-based data sources on building damage.
