Indraneel Kasmalkar
Neel is a Research Fellow at DASL. He studies the impacts of coastal flooding and sea level rise on urban systems.
Neel did his undergraduate studies in pure mathematics at University of California at Berkeley (Class of 2015). He completed his PhD at Stanford University (2021) at the Institute for Computational and Mathematical Engineering. For his PhD, Neel worked with Prof. Jenny Suckale to understand the dynamics of ice stream beds, as well as to quantify transportation resilience of the San Francisco Bay Area to coastal flooding and sea level rise.
Apart from Math and disasters, Neel is a Youtube Neoswing dancer.
